Samira Hiam Kabbara is an emerging artist based in Berlin.
Capturing moments of everyday intimacy, her works combine conceptual, documentary and staged photography and video - often portraying the in-between as an anti-theatrical gesture.

She studied at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam and Academy of Fine Arts (HGB), Leipzig. Parallel to her Fine Art Studies she gained experience as photo, video and director’s assistant in Berlin and Paris.
